Artist : Acid Storm
Country : Brazil
Release : Why?... Dirty War [Reissue]
Year : 1989
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

Re-release on CD of the debut mini-album 1989 (released before on vinyl only) + two demos by Brazilian Thrash Metal band.
Acid Storm played Speed/Thrash Metal in a fairly typical but energetic vein. "Why?... Dirty War" manages to capture the authentic sound and feel of the scene. Basically Acid Storm end up sounding almost like another run-of-the-mill band in the beginning of their career, with few distinctive features to differentiate them from the horde of other bands from the same period. Admittedly the output is formally adequate and the album plays rather unobtrusively in the background.
Re-edition also contains two demos ("Tomorrow Soldiers" 1993 and "No Man´s Land" 1994) as bonuses.
Great re-release of this Brazilian bay area influenced Thrash highlight from 1989, with demo bonus tracks and great old photos and small history (formed 1986, with MX and Harppia members)!
Totally recommended for fans of Slayer’s 86-90 era!!!
